I am very passionate about childcare and giving children the best possible start in life, the best part of working with children is that no two days are the same. I have several years’ experience within the childcare sector and I am keen to help all children reach their full potential, smoothing the path to their transition into school. The Chestnut Nursery team provides a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment for your child to achieve their full potential. It makes me happy to know that my team and I can and will make a real difference.

My name is Kayleigh, I've been working in childcare since 2003 and I've been working with Chestnut since March 2018. I have been fortunate enough to build my career in childcare starting off as a student and working my way to Deputy Manager. I really enjoy working with children because this is where it all begins; a child's development. I've learnt that children are like sponges, waiting and willing to soak up all the information they need to have a bright and happy future. I also enjoy building a partnership with a child's parents and carers to provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children, offering a variety of creative activities and having the opportunity to explore the outdoors and indoors while helping the children learn through play and fun. I also enjoy the opportunity to see the children's uniqueness come out and watch them blossom and see their confidence grow as they grow.
