From quite early on it became obvious I had a passion for caring for children. My journey began in 2013 when I gained my level 3 diploma in childcare. I started working for Chestnut Nursery Schools in 2015, progressing to a lead practitioner shortly after this. I later became senior lead before I got the opportunity to become Deputy Manager at Sewell Park. I had the honour of helping to establish the setting and creating a beautiful space for children to thrive and develop. In 2022 I was given the opportunity to become Manager at Sewell Park. I believe one of the best parts about caring for children is helping them to reach their goals and full potential. I believe in providing the best quality of care and education for children to give them the best possible start in life.

From a very young age I have always known I wanted to work with children, and from 2012 I started my dream job as a nursery practitioner. I quickly discovered my love for the job and how much I enjoyed looking after children and giving them the best opportunities and start in life. Since joining Sewell park last year, I have progressed into a room lead position for Bronte Room and have loved caring for the babies and seeing them thrive and develop in the nursery environment. After a decade in the nursery sector, I have now taken on the role of deputy manager for the nursery and I am really looking forward to helping drive the nursery forward and continue to look after and shape the children into the young people they aspire to be, by encouraging them to follow their dreams.
